Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Code Foundations Lab, including https://course.artoffeelings.com, paid course access, account features, and related support services.
By using the service or purchasing access, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Service overview
Code Foundations Lab provides digital educational materials about web development fundamentals, software tooling, debugging habits, documentation, and practical project workflows.
The service is informational and educational only. It does not provide employment guarantees, certification, legal, financial, medical, psychological, or emergency advice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to use the service and purchase access.
You are responsible for providing accurate information and for keeping access to your account secure.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Some parts of the service require a paid subscription or paid digital access. Prices, billing periods, renewal terms, and available payment methods are shown before checkout.
By purchasing a subscription, you authorize the payment provider to charge your selected payment method according to the plan you choose.
Payments may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider available at checkout. The payment provider may display additional payment terms, taxes, billing information, and payment method rules during checkout.
Subscriptions continue until canceled. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the payment provider portal or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewal charges, but it does not automatically refund payments already processed.
4. Digital content access
After successful payment, access to paid digital content is provided through your account. Access may depend on subscription status, payment status, and technical availability.
We may update, improve, reorganize, or replace course materials from time to time while preserving the general educational purpose of the service.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service.
- Do not share, resell, copy, scrape, or redistribute paid content without permission.
- Do not attempt to bypass payment, access controls, or security features.
- Do not use the service for unlawful, abusive, harmful, or misleading activity.
- Do not interfere with the normal operation of the service.
6. Course content
Course materials are prepared in advance and organized into lessons, examples, exercises, and reflection prompts.
Technical guidance may not fit every project or environment. You should use your own judgment and test code before relying on it in real systems.
7. Results and disclaimers
Results vary by learner. We do not guarantee employment, income, admission to any program, certification, or any specific technical outcome.
You remain responsible for your decisions, code, projects, deployments, and use of third-party tools.
8. Intellectual property
The service, content, design, text, branding, software, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Code Foundations Lab and are protected by applicable laws.
You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access the service for your own use while your account is in good standing.
9. Account suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create risk for other users, or if payment cannot be processed.
You may stop using the service at any time. Subscription cancellation and refunds are handled according to the Refund Policy.
10. Third-party services
The service may link to or rely on third-party services, including payment processors, analytics providers, email providers, hosting providers, and authentication services.
We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, their security practices, or their separate terms and policies.
11. Limitation of liability
Code Foundations Lab is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service during the three months before the claim arose.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the business operating Code Foundations Lab, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Before starting a formal dispute, you agree to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
Continued use of the service after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
